  4. Yes, you may well be proud of them, they did fantastic! To offer some sort of revenge to you: we'll blow the Portuguese away for you on Sunday, rest assured!

  5. It was a game too far sadly. Everybody will be supporting whoever they play in the final now !

  6. I think that, after Iceland, Wales became the second team of every non-Welsh fan (bar the English...). No one could have foreseen what they'd do. They played good football, scored quite a few goals and defended as if their lives depended on it. Apart from the last 45 minutes of the semi final. I agree, Ramsey was missed and that highlights the one thing Wales don't have - strength in depth. Portugal played the best half of football they'd had all tournament last night. Wales let their guard down for just a few minutes and sadly that was the difference. (Oh, and Bale had a shocker by his standards).

But it was great fun while it lasted and for a couple of weeks, the Welsh populace suddenly realised they had another team, one that plays with a round ball. Sadly, even though I work in Cardiff, I'm not going to see the homecoming parade tomorrow.

  7. I was hoping they'd do it last night, as an Englishman and everything. They ran out of steam and it was a game too far. When you end up with 2 MK Dons players on the pitch against Ronaldo et al, you're going to be against it at some point. Brilliant though, truly.
